Sara McLaughlin, Instructor Sara has been dancing since the age of five. While being trained through studio dance she studied tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical until she graduated from high school. Sara went on to dance in college at Winona State University where she practiced jazz, hip-hop and pom. Shortly after graduating from Winona, Sara became a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader where she met Tristina! Sara currently teaches 2nd grade in Newport, MN and is looking forward to be an instructor at Stella! |

Sarah Matteson, Instructor Sarah started her dance training in a studio when she was 3 years old, and began competing when she was 7. She continued to study dance and compete in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical until graduating from high school. Sarah was also a member of the award winning Prescott Dance Team throughout her high school career. In college, Sarah continued taking master jazz and tap classes through the University of Minnesota's dance program. In addition to taking classes, Sarah has been teaching, choreographing, and judging for the dance community for several years. She is excited to help out at Stella! |

Laura Sukawaty, Instructor Laura began dancing at the age of 9 and continued her dance education until graduating from high school in 2005. As a member of the St. Croix Central dance team in high school, Laura won the All Conference Solo Division all four years; was a Wisconsin All-State Dancer for 2 years; and was a top 5 Performer of the Year for 3 years in a row at UPA Nationals. She also won awards as a soloist with Helmer Dance Studio. She spent 4 years on the dance team at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and was a captain on the team for 3 of those years. During that time she helped lead the team to some of their best placements at UDA Nationals in Orlando, Fl. Laura enjoys choreographing, specifically contemporary/lyrical and jazz, and hopes to be involved with dance for the rest of her life. She will be graduating from UWEC in December 2010 with a degree in journalism and web design. |

Alyssa Schorr, Instructor Alyssa began dancing at a young age and continued for years receiving national awards as a soloist and as part of countless small and large group productions, most notably at Woodbury Dance Center. She has 10 years experience teaching and working with groups of all ages in styles of musical theater, tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical dance. Her choreography and routines have also received many awards in several regional and national competitions. Additionally, she has staged and choreographed for show choirs and high school theater productions, as well as performing in the University of Wisconsin River falls summer theater productions. Outside of dance, Alyssa graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science and Dance Education and performed with the modern dance theater company of UWRF. In 2009, she performed in the North Central ACDFA conference. With her knowledge and experience, she hopes to improve your student's technique, enhance their performance quality, and experience the joy and art of dance. |

Kylee McLain, Assistant Instructor Kylee is a 14 year old freshmen at River Falls High School where she is a part of S.O.S. (Students Offering Support), FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and the girl's varsity Cross Country team. She started dancing when she was two years old and has loved it ever since. For the past eight years, she has been competing in a variety of styles, tap being her favorite. The faster her feet move the better! Along with dancing, in her spare time Kylee enjoys skiing, swimming, and spending time with her friends and family. |

Brianna Shirley, Assistant Instructor Brianna started dancing at age five, but didn't begin competitive studio dance (tap, jazz and musical show) until she was thirteen. She greatly enjoys the competition season at Stella! Brianna made the Prescott High School Varsity Dance Team her Freshman year and has enjoyed getting to know her teammates. Brianna has always enjoyed working with children and has aspirations of becoming a teacher. Teaching at Stella has allowed her to combine her passion for dance with her desire to teach. |
